There is an effort to uphold the rights of Colorado residents to access natural gas, as outlined in Initiative 177. This is a good initiative to pushback against the impractical objective to completely abolishing clean natural gas, as outlined by Colorado’s appointed board, the PUC (Public Utilities Commission). But now, the environmental organization Conservation Colorado is presenting four ballot initiatives meant to strangle natural gas:
Initiative 310 – Liability for Oil and Gas Operations
Initiative 311 – Liability for Oil and Gas and Waste Injection Operations
Initiative 312 – Cost of Natural Gas Pipeline Extensions
Initiative 313 – Liability for Oil and Gas Operations
These initiatives are meant to kill Colorado’s natural gas and oil, and enrich the groups that will sue, sue, sue and yes sue.

If you value your right to choose how you want to heat your house, cook on your stove, or heat hot water, oppose these initiatives. Do NOT sign any of these petitions.
